Star ratings can't tell you whether a puzzle toy survives a power chewer, or whether that deshedding brush actually works on a double coat. So we built the Fit Analysis: one structured scoring rubric, applied to every product we cover.
It's research scoring, not an in-home lab test, and we say so plainly. We synthesize spec analysis, owner reviews across sources, and veterinary and behaviorist literature, then publish the failures right next to the winners. If it wouldn't genuinely work for dogs, we don't recommend it.
